In Honor of Black History Month

We're so close to reaching my fundraising goal. Please consider making a donation today.

I started this online fundraiser to help support cancer research, in particular in memory of Dr. Jane C. Wright, an ASCO founder.

She was the only woman and African American among the group of ASCO founders and was the last surviving member—she died in early 2013 at the age of 93.

In addition to her contribution to establishing the Society’s core mission and growing its membership, Dr. Wright dedicated her career to scientific investigation with a focus on patient care.

In recognition of her contribution to research on cancer chemotherapy, ASCO and the Conquer Cancer Foundation established the Jane C. Wright, MD, Young Investigator Award in 2011.

I am asking for your support to honor Dr. Wright's memory during this Black History month.

The Conquer Cancer Foundation is one of only a few organizations committed to defeating all forms of cancer--from the common to the rare.
Thank you for your support!
